Battle in the Capital 2017

ghted to announce that this Christmas ‘17 we will be hosting the “Battle in the Capital” international basketball tournament in London, England, which will feature high-level boys u14 teams from UK and Europe, including elite clubs FC Barcelona and Apollo Amsterdam. Sponsored by Wilson and Holiday Inn Express, this tournament is the ultimate u14 event of the year and will also have a boys u16 and girls u14 division for UK teams.
The tournament will take place at the University of East London, a state of the art basketball facility which hosted Team USA practices in their run up to the London 2012 Olympic games. UK teams taking part in the event include Manchester Magic, London Youngbloods Lions, Baltic Stars and more.

We are offering a really valuable tournament for the UK basketball community, which will continue to grow in years to come.”

• Network and build relationships with other players and coaches
• Visit one of the most historic and exciting cities in the world
The tournament will take place on December 28th/29th and will feature an u14 boys (international), u14 girls (UK only) and u16 boys (UK only) division who will compete in pool play, playoffs and championship game action. The line-up is set for the inaugural Battle in the Capital tournament, we can’t wait for the action to commence!
