Tour Overview

We are pleased to present you with the information page for the BTM U18 Boys Basketball tour to Barcelona in August 2023.

The tour will offer the players high-level games against international opposition, the opportunity to run team practice sessions, cultural & leisure activities that will educate and build unity between teammates and coaches and delicious food to create an experience of a lifetime.

The group will stay in the town of Lloret de Mar, situated North of Barcelona, allowing easy access into the city for sightseeing. Training and games will take place at stadiums local to the hotel, and with numerous teams from across Europe taking part in the experience, the competition will be diverse and intense.

Outside of the basketball activity, players will be able to enjoy the sights of the incredible city of Barcelona, with a Nou Camp stadium tour and visits to places such as Sagrada Familia, La Rambla and Casa Mila. There will also be chances to relax by the hotel pool or on one of Lloret de Mar's long, sandy beaches.

This tour package includes:

• return flights from London to Barcelona
• management of all pre-tour administration and communications
• airport transfers and in-tour transport in Barcelona
• 5 days / 4 nights in the town of Lloret de Mar
• all breakfast, lunch and dinners
• 2 team practices and 4 games against high-level international opposition
• sightseeing experiences in Barcelona, including the Nou Camp stadium
• leisure time at the hotel pool
• a BTM rep with you throughout the tour to ensure the tour runs smoothly and your experience is maximised

• individual travel insurance
• any COVID testing costs

Your accommodation is provided by:

• a 3 star hotel located in Lloret de Mar

The price is based on shared accommodation in triple rooms, doubles for coaches. Single rooms can be requested at an additional cost.

Payment Plan

The tour payment plan is as follows:

• £300 deposit by Nov 30 2022
• £335 interim payment by Jan 31 2023
• £335 final balance by Mar 31 2023

Itinerary

The prospective itinerary includes 2 team practices and 4 games against high-level international opposition.

Outside of the basketball we have included sightseeing opportunities in Barcelona, including world famous sights such as Sagrada Familia and Nou Camp Stadium.

Our hotel location in Lloret de Mar is in close proximity to the basketball stadiums, with an all-day restaurant buffet, on-site outdoor pool and a short walk to the local town and beach.
