Tour Overview

We are pleased to present you with the information page for the Virginia Wesleyan Men's Basketball 2022 tour to London, England.

The tour will offer the players high-level games against UK opposition, the opportunity to run team practice sessions, cultural & leisure activities that will educate and build unity between teammates and coaches, hotel accommodation in the heart of the city and delicious food to create an experience of a lifetime.

This tour package includes:
  • management of all pre-tour administration and communications
  • return flights from Washington Dulles to London
  • airport transfers and in-tour transport in London
  • 8 days / 7 nights in a central London hotel
  • all breakfast, lunch and dinner
  • 2 team practices at UEL, one of the UK's elite training facilities, and 4 games against high-level professional, semi-professional and prep opposition
  • private open top bus London sightseeing tour, experiencing some of London iconic landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the London Eye and more
  • shopping time in the city and a chance to see one of London's world famous theatre shows
  • excursion to Brighton seeing the beach front, pier and the fantastic Lanes shopping and leisure area

Flight Details

Your flights will be:
  • scheduled flights from Washington Dulles to a major London airport
The flights will include a cabin bag and a hold bag. Any additional hold bags required will be charged at the airline rate.

NOTE: Flights are priced as economy seats. Extra legroom seats and upgrades will be charged at airline rates.

Accommodation

Your accommodation is provided by:
  • A central London hotel that will be in close proximity to key London landmarks and amenities
The price is based on shared accommodation in twin rooms. Single rooms can be requested at additional cost.

Payment Plan

The tour payment plan is as follows:
  • $695 deposit per person within 2 weeks of confirmation of booking
  • $2000 final balance 3 months before departure

Itinerary

The prospective itinerary includes 2 team practices at the University of East London's elite training facility, where Team USA practised in 2012 during the London Olympics. The schedule will include 4 games against professional, semi-professional and prep opposition.

Outside of the basketball we have included several sightseeing opportunities, including world famous city sights such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and the London Eye. Our hotel location in the center of London allows for easily accessible opportunities to spend time in the city.
