Skill Sessions

Our weekly skill sessions are open to players of all ages and abilities, focusing on developing core basketball fundamentals like shooting, dribbling, passing, and defense. Beyond the court, we place strong emphasis on building essential life skills—leadership, teamwork, a strong work ethic, and the confidence to grow on and off the court.

Our Autumn ’25 Skill Session details are as follows:

Age: 8 – 16 (School Years 3 – 11)

Day and Time: Saturdays: 10.45 am – 11.45 am (School Year 3 to 6), 11.45 am – 12.45 pm (School Year 7 to 11)

Dates: 13th, 20th & 27th September, 4th, 11th & 18th October, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th November, 6th, 13th & 20th December ’25

Camps

Our school holiday camps offer a fun, active way for young players to build skills, boost confidence, and enjoy the game in a supportive environment.

Each day includes skill sessions, competitions, full and half-court games, and awards for players who show values like teamwork and coachability. Whether your child is a beginner or more experienced, our camps are a great mix of learning, playing, and making new friends.

Registration for our August 2025 camp is currently ON HOLD while we secure an alternative venue. Dorothy Stringer School is now undergoing a floor refurbishment during that time, so we’re working to find a suitable new location. We’ll update you as soon as details are confirmed—thank you for your patience and understanding!

Cost: £35 one day, £55 two days, £75 three days, £95 four days

CVL (City League)

City League is our Central Venue League for children aged 8 to 11 (school years 3–6) who want to play regular, structured basketball in a fun and supportive setting.

Games run every other Sunday at BHASVIC Sixth Form College between 1pm and 4pm. Players can join as a team, with friends, or individually—solo players are placed on a team for the term by our coaches.

With official fixtures, league tables, and end-of-term awards, it’s a great introduction to competitive basketball and team play.

Our Autumn ’25 City League details are as follows:

Age: 8 – 11 (School Years 3 – 6)

Dates: Sundays – 21st September, 5th & 19th October, 2nd, 16th & 30th November, 14th December ’25

Time: 1 pm – 4 pm

Location: BHASVIC College, Hove

Cost: £84 Per Term (Plus one-off £15 fee for a BTM reversible vest for first-time attendees)
